Our Programs

We are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve and are constantly looking for ways to enhance our impact..

ADVOCACY AND TRAINING

ADVOCACY AND TRAINING

This program is for promoting, recommending, encouraging and empowering others, with an eye towards decision makers and professionals. We advocate at the national and subnational levels countrywide. PCCE listens closely to the community members we work with to ensure:

  • People get the services and resources they need
  • People get to exercise their protective rights
  • People get treated respectfully and professionally
  • People live without any discrimination

We, PCCE and our partners, advocate for good policies and the best practices to create a convincing case for change and improvements.

PCCE also runs training sessions, organizes seminars and workshops for teachers, parents, social workers, police personnel, and doctors. We also work with children and the youth to raise their levels of awareness. We publish and distribute leaflets, handbooks, and posters, and broadcast TV and Radio programs that promote child development and protection. These activities are aimed at increasing the level of awareness surrounding important rights and beginning a slow, but required, change in mentality towards children, the youth and vulnerable groups within the community.

COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT AND LIFE SPAN DEVELOPMENT

COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT AND LIFE SPAN DEVELOPMENT

PCCE is happy to be a witness to how humans grow and change throughout their entire life. Our research focuses on human growth and changes across lifespans, including cognitive, perceptual, social, intellectual, emotional growth and personality.

Based on our lifespan development activities and research, the PCCE wants to give people hope and aspiration, offering them encouragement, and encouraging them to generate within themselves the wonderful potential strength to live that is innate in every person.

We are happy to work with them to share Empowerment techniques with local communities, professionals and decision makers.

MONITORING AND EVALUATION

MONITORING AND EVALUATION

PCCE has seen Monitoring and Evaluation as an empowerment tool for expanding stakeholders’ knowledge base and enhancing their skills. PCCE helps to improve the performance, management, results, and impacts of the projects/programs set by government bodies, and international and domestic NGOs.

We do independent monitoring and evaluation to create opportunities to share insight and knowledge. PCCE aims to protect human rights, health and the environment by monitoring and evaluating ongoing projects/programs.

PHILANTHROPY WORK

PHILANTHROPY WORK

PCCE does philanthropy work to promote positive changes in society. Philanthropy, or ‘love of humanity,’ is caring for, nourishing, and enhancing the quality of life for human beings.

Philanthropy work can be done in the smallest possible way. No matter your financial status, philanthropy is meant to improve someone else’s life.

We do philanthropy work based on ‘learning and giving’ approaches and we give without expecting something in return.

PCCE works to shift other’s understanding of what philanthropy means while preparing tomorrow’s philanthropists. Philanthropists can use their convening power to bring together communities, civil society organizations, experts, and decision makers.

SOCIAL SURVEYS

SOCIAL SURVEYS

We work collaboratively to conduct interdisciplinary research that improves communities and addresses social and health issues most relevant to society.

Our portfolio of research explores and measures community knowledge, attitudes and behaviors across a wide range of topics including poverty, social welfare, substance abuse, life span development, ageing, education, health disparities, health measures and behaviors, social networks, diversity and environment.

Our input into social development covers a diverse range of themes and portfolios.

SOCIAL TOUR AND LIFE SKILL EXCHANGE PROGRAM

SOCIAL TOUR AND LIFE SKILL EXCHANGE PROGRAM

PCCE has run study tours and life skill exchange programs for youth and community members. International participants are also welcomed to our exchange programs.

Participants in the social tours and life skill exchange programs are given opportunities to learn about the cultural and social aspects of rural and urban Mongolia by immersing themselves in the community and communicating with the local members there. The youth, community members and the visitors joining the social tours have the opportunities to experience local life, participate in workshops with local professionals, meet non-profit organizations and visit residential care centers for the elderly and disabled.

DEVELOPMENTAL SCREENING AND CHILD STUDY

DEVELOPMENTAL SCREENING AND CHILD STUDY

PCCE promotes child and youth development and their well-being through the integration of research, developmental screenings, training, and engaged community outreach. The project’s efforts will be committed to fostering the continued growth and development of children and youth—cognitively, socially, emotionally, creatively, and physically.

The center already has some educational efforts, including professional training in community psychological and developmental needs and specific intervention and prevention approaches.

PROMOTING EMPOWERMENT SCIENCES

PROMOTING EMPOWERMENT SCIENCES

Growing inequality between and within the country has become a pressing issue. However, NGOs and government bodies are working together to find the most suitable strategies to use and reduce inequalities, and improve the access to good quality basic goods and services. They were found to be limited in their actions due to the lack of resources, training in leadership development and lack of capacity building skills. For strengthening the local community, it is more useful to help people, peers and community to give dreams and hopes based on the empowerment theory.

In order to empower professionals and increase community engagement, PCCE has implementing the following activities to implement with interested parties:

  • Conducting empowerment lectures throughout the nation wide,
  • Translating and developing empowerment books and training materials
